We then build a profile of their lives so we can see the causes of potential personal stress, work place stress and any other key influencers such as money, family, relationships and health etc…

We’ll look at the behaviours the stress is has created and who has been and potentially will be affected and what that means

Once a full stress profile has been completed then we will create a plan.

Stress management

Many people are looking for ways in which to manage stress. We are going to make the assumption that any client of ours does not want stress. Stress management suggests that stress is a life long incurable illness, it’s not.

Our focus is on removing the emotional triggers that are causing the perception that the individuals can’t cope.

Most of peoples stress is governed by the meanings they are giving situations, combined with the lack of creating the balance we all need in all areas of our lives.

Stress Example

For example: John may think that he will loose his job and if he does he may lose his house and his wife.

If John plays out this future in his mind John is going to perform so badly at work he may lose it through poor results. He may worry so much about losing his wife that he acts irrationally at home upset his wife’s security and she through her own fears she puts pressure on him to be the man and look after her.

If he has no money, no job, no wife and no home he could easily picture a life not worth living and then dive into stress, depression and anxiety.

Now through his perception or the meanings he has attached to what might happen he is has put himself under massive pressure.

This is what John now thinks: If he loses his job he will die!

If this belief, become a fact in John mind then John has really problems, but his problems are not what he thinks they are.
